FRUITFUL

Let us meditate on the parable of BARREN FIG TREE mentioned by Lord Yeshua our Messiah in the gospel of Luke chapter 13 from verses 6 to 9. A certain man who owned a vineyard observed a barren fig tree in his vineyard. He said to the dresser of the vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit in this fig tree and find none. Cut it down, why does it encumber the ground?

And answering he said to him: Lord, let it alone this year also until I dig around it and throw manure. And if it bears fruits, well and if not, then after that you shall cut it down.

Fig tree depicts a Christian believer. This parable talks about the duty of every Christian believer on this earth. We are enjoying freely available GRACE through the precious sacrifice of Lord Yeshua on the cross. However, we have a certain responsibility in the body of Christ, it can’t be ignored in any case, otherwise, we will be punished by living GOD. Yes, we will be punished by living GOD if we do not bear fruits.

As it is written: Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

We need to fruits of righteousness through Lord Jesus Christ (Lord Yeshua our Messiah) in our life otherwise, we know all very well what may happen with the barren fig tree, it will be cut down.
How can we have the fruits of righteousness in our life? We live in an unrighteous world, full of corruption which talks about peace but rejects the prince of peace. The world talks about love sitting on hatred, disapproving of the unconditional love of GOD.

As it is written; 2 Peter 1:4 through which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We have exceedingly great and precious promises in lord Yeshua our Messiah to sanctify from the corruption of the world. Holy Bible is not only to be read once or twice a day and then keep it safely on the shelf, rather we have to chew and meditate on the great and precious promises which become active in Christ every time we face a challenging situation or circumstance in our life. Proclaim the great and precious promises through Christ to receive victory in your situation.  This is the beginning point for the process of bearing fruits of righteousness.

There is an open invitation of God’s love manifested through his begotten Son Lord Yeshua our Messiah. Don’t be double-minded. As it is written; James 4:8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones.

Adonai Yeshua our Messiah is coming Soon!
