Many times it happens with us that we delight in a thing which we should not do, we recognize and regret for it very late. We delight knowing the intensity of act and the warning associated with it, we do it and perceive that GOD will not question for it. Situation drastically changes when things are questioned by GOD, become really tough for us to answer. You cannot hide anything from GOD and he knows every evil thoughts of your heart. The act of regret is mentioned in book of Samuel: For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people. And Joab said unto the king, now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many so ever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing? (2 Samuel 24:2-3). Joab , man of God warned King DAVID not to engage in an act displeasing to GOD, but later as you read the chapter, you come to know how drastic was punishment not only for King but also for the people. The Bible declares all such act of delight happens because "And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. (2 Thessalonians 3:2)". Faith is the key to survival in this world. For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly. (Mark 6:20). But yet he got pleased by the act due to which he committed unfaithful act giving full opportunity for the Devil to ruin his life.
So we have to cautious in the world, because the power of world lies in hands of evil. We have to avoid acts of disbelief so as to protect our free will in Christ for our lives. Absence of faith brings hardness in hearts, which later on turn to disobedience. So the key point is FAITH, and So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17). Because Apostle Paul says that "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1) "
Because the everlasting word of GOD says "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:11-12)". So DEATH is not the end of LIFE, but a PAUSE IN LIFE. REPENT and BE BAPTIZIED in father, son Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit, before a PAUSE in LIFE. (CHRIST says)I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the KEYS OF HELL AND OF DEATH. (Revelation 1:18)
AMEN.
