RESTORATION

“And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down. And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name.” 1 Kings 18:30-31 KJV. Now here the Prophet Elijah is taking about restoration of the altar of the LORD, by putting twelve stones on which altar of Lord is built. How to build altar of the Lord in your life explained by Apostle Simon Peter in “According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lack these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:3-11 KJV. So the first step is to identify the calling of Lord Jesus Christ for our life as an individual, because it is the compass on which all our present, future actions in our life will be shaped. The calling of Lord Jesus Christ can be observed specifically by an individual when he or she kneels down with tears of repentance before the living God, Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit with prayer and fasting. A great relaxation, freedom in mind, body and spirit are being experienced after the identification and clear understanding of our calling, the word of God becomes alive in our life leading to fulfillment of the will of Tri-union God in our life. So have we today understood the calling of Lord Jesus Christ for our life??????
