Spirit of Man

The Bible tells us about the Spirit of God moved on the face of waters of earth, when the earth was void and without form. Then when God created Man and Women in his own image it is written in Genesis “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7 KJV). This means that Man living today in the current age which is thousand and thousand years ahead of Genesis still has God gift of the spirit (Breath of Life).
Now days we do talk and discuss things, assuming that nobody will ever come to know about choosing things and doing things which are hidden from everybody. But the Bible says in the “spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” (Proverbs 20:27 KJV). Further more the Bible reveals that the “heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV). That means the Breath of Life called the Spirit of Man is now controlled by heart which is deceitful in nature, as also explained by Apostle Paul in “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.” (Romans 7:14 KJV). Who can help helps us in this condition? Definitely, the answer lies in the Bible itself, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22 KJV). Our Human Heart requires a surgery to get it working who can do this? “And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” (Ezekiel 11:19-20 KJV) The answer is JESUS, JESUS because he declared “For a good tree bring not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather the grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bring forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bring forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speak. And why call me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and hear my sayings, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and dig deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that hear, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.” (Luke 6:43-49 KJV) If you don’t accept Jesus as your personal Saviour, then Bible declares “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abide on him. (John 3:36 KJV)
Because Bible further declares God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24 KJV). This is a call from “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.” (Colossians 1:15-20 KJV)
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (Philippians 4:23 KJV)
