“THE LORD IS MY SHEPERED”

We are all familiar with this verse of psalm 23; everybody remembers it as it was taught in Sunday school, house prayer or in the school. The major issue is do we imbibe the meaning of this verse in our daily life. The moment we confront any problem, or face a dilemma or trouble in our thoughts, do we recall this verse or take decisions by our limited understanding. Most of us choose the last option i.e. take decisions by our limited understanding. Sometimes trouble is solved, and sometimes we are satisfied despite not reaching to the solution realizing that we have taken some action for the troublesome situation. This gives SATAN to play a vicious game in our lives; we enter into a series of trouble which goes on and on. The more we try to straight the things up, the more mess it appears to be. We then start to fume, frustrate and finally blown up, the BLAME GAME starts in our mind (battlefield).

Further under depression due to our inability to handle the situation we start to blame GOD, the moment we do it, SATAN quickly put blame on our lives. We get more and more engrossed in the SIN. We get caught in the deep pit of SIN; yoke of BONDAGE is laid up on our lives.  We lost the relationship and the intimacy with our LORD GOD, the sweet gentle voice of lord And he (Moses) said, If you will carefully listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His Laws, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am Jehovah who heals you.

Further Master JESUS CHRIST has explained in gospel of John, My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. When you hear his voice, acknowledge it and follow it as sheep follow the shepherd. Sharing god’s voice is personal, intangible and always in present. David heard master’s voice and despite being in troubles his entire life, first from Saul, then wars and even from his own son. He was confident about the GRACE and BLESSING of GOD that is why JESUS CHRIST told in book of revelation: I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Intangible means you cannot apprehend it, u develop a personal intimacy, a book you can read and put it down but the voice hit you directly, on a personal level. It is direct one to one interaction which demands surrenderence for complete obedience. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Lastly GOD is talking to us in our present day lives, not in past or future. Just as we are, we need to remember.  Paul stated to all saints in ROME: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

JESUS CHRIST SAID,

IT IS WRITTEN, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.
