A believer in Christ invites troubles when takes to disobey or ignore the instructions which they receive from Living God Jesus in their heart as very light or of little importance. For His (Lord Christ Jesus) eyes are on the ways of man, and He sees all his steps. They start to consider their thoughts as more important and necessary in decision making without knowing the consequences. For God speaks once, yea, twice, but not one takes notice. In a dream, a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men; while they slumber on the bed; then He opens the ear of men and seals their teaching, so that He may turn man from his act, that He might hide pride from man. Let us ponder on three special kings mentioned in the Holy Bible who were made known the will of living GOD and followed the consequences in their life. First one is King Saul, king who disobeyed the voice of GOD and considers his own understanding, later he was punished from Lord Jehovah for his disobedience. Most of us suffer from this sin in ourselves, which is creating a heavy barrier in our life to receive blessings from Christ. Second is king Solomon, the most learned and full of wisdom, disobeyed GOD twice and later suffered punishment from GOD. He used to talk with GOD. This happened because “for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idol-worshipâ€.
There was a king Josiah who was just EIGHT years old when he began to reign, seeking after GOD of David. For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek after the God of David his father. And in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the Asherahs, and the carved images, and the molten images. And they broke down the altars of the Baals in his presence. And he cut down the images which were on high above them, and the Asherahs. And the carved images and the molten images he also broke in pieces and made dust from them, and scattered on the graves of the ones who had sacrificed to them. Remember: For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. How much more shall the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God) purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Our duty is to now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and He revealing through us the odour of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are to God a sweet savor of Christ, in those being saved, and in those being lost; to the one we are the savor of death to death, and to the other we are the savor of life to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, hawking the Word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophesying. Prove all things, hold fast to the good. Abstain from every appearance of evil. And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
