JOSIAH and SHAPAN

These two characters are mentioned in the Old Testament part of holy bible. It is given in 2 chronicles chapter 34.  Josiah is a king over Israel and Judah who receives a book of law of Lord written by Moses given by Shapan. Not only he receives it as a king, but also humbles himself and repents in front of Lord God. Shapan who boldly presented the book of law of lord to King Josiah, so we also ought to do as he did not ignored the book of law of Lord, whom he received from Hilkiah. Most of the Christians today have ignored the book of law i.e. Holy Bible. There are numerous reasons given by them like recent advances in technology, changes in the society, one religion. We do agree to all of reasons have made difficult situations for us in our society, but one things has not changed thorough the ages i.e. the living word of GOD which teaches us, guides us, protect us, and counsel us. Lord Jesus Christ has told us that I will not leave you comfortless, but given us spirit of truth i.e. Holy Spirit. This message you are reading because Jesus Christ has said: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”  Definitely we are leaving in a perilous time; every country on the globe is getting ready for the reign of Antichrist. A time when world is after Christians, persecuted to different degree in different parts of the globe. As a believer we have a duty to perform to share the glorious gospel of Lord Jesus Christ at least to our family, our relatives, friends and every other which the Holy Spirit guides us to do. Whether they receive it or ignore it is there look out, we are not responsible for it. The main element is whether we have warned them as per book of law of Lord i.e. Holy Bible. We do not know what is the plan of GOD for the other person?  They may be receiving a message or warning from word of GOD which is changing their hearts, their thoughts and their ideas.

Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. Then shall we know if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

We as a believer must understand that till our last breadth is blown out from our nostril, 

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: this is the duty of an every believer.
