FULL MEASURE

We will be celebrating the crucification and glorious resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ in this week. Do we really value the sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ in our life? If the answer is yes then we need to rethink about it. Holy bible (Living word of God) clearly defines that For God in full measure was pleased to be in him; we need to clearly understand what our earlier situation was.  We were cut off and were at war with Living GOD in our minds in the Past. The battlefield of MIND was experienced with agony by Lord Jesus Christ from birth till crucification. Satan started to tempt him before the beginning of the ministry in the wilderness three times, then again when he was with 12 disciples for Last Supper; Judas was possessed and betrayed him. Then Peter whom Jesus Christ loved very much became obsessed and denied 3 times the master Christ and also in garden of Gethsemane, the Satan tried to enter his thoughts by pressurising him: “Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: NEVERTHELESS NOT AS I WILL, BUT AS THOU WILT.” After showing complete obedience Jesus Christ was able to please GOD in FULL MEASURE.

We as believers need to understand our responsibility and duty being in Jesus Christ. We need to bear nine fruits of Holy Spirit against which there is no LAW or condemnation of any kind. We in Christ have to crucify the flesh with the affections and lusts of the world. In his whole period of deep agony, Jesus Christ given a secret to us: “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak”. Now focus on renewing of spirit and soul by having a good conscience towards GOD. That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and are renewed in the spirit of your mind (conscience); and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. This is a slow, proactive process which require to tame wild thoughts of mind thorough reading and meditating the word of GOD daily. The cleaning process once initiated cleanses our minds; ours desires and makes us free to a greater degree thereby realizing will of living GOD in our lives. Cry to GOD like King David, in Psalm 57, Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be over past.  I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

Remember Master Jesus Christ told:

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day^. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
