RICH

Abraham was rich man yet he was deeply considered a faithful due to his obedience to God. Joseph was prime minister of Egypt through his obedience. Job was restored through obedience. David was made king of Israel from shepherd due to his obedience. But when Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem he lived a simple life no luxury despite being the creator of earth, the God particle of the whole universe. Why is there such a paradox?

Lord Jesus Christ himself clearly explained in Gospel of Luke, the description of certain rich man and certain beggar named Lazarus. He described as they both died and buried rich man went to hell and Lazarus went to Abraham Bosom. Beggar receives comfort while rich received torment.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, Truly I say to you that a rich man will with great difficulty enter into the kingdom of Heaven. And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Matthew 19:23-24)

The reason for it is revealed by Holy Spirit; do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2:15-16)

God demands love from Mankind, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. The one who does not love has not known God. For God is love. In this the love of God was revealed in us, because God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him. (1 John 4:7-9)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome. For everything that has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. (1 John 5:3-4)

The richness of mankind come from recognizing the necessity, importance of continued relationship thorough Jesus Christ with God.

Remember:

Because you say, I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing, and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I counsel you to buy from Me gold purified by fire, so that you may be rich; and white clothing, so that you may be clothed, and so that the shame of your nakedness does not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, so that you may see.

(Revelation 3:17-18)
