There are three specific kind of blindness mentioned in the new testament of holy bible which are being healed by Jesus Christ. Let us ponder on few moments the effects of specific blindness hinders ours relationship with our saviour Lord Jesus Christ and block our blessings from him.
The first blindness is being mentioned in miracle of blind man healed at town of Bethsaida which is being given in
“And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. And he sent him away to his house, saying, neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town (Mark 8:22-26)”. In this first miracle for our focus make us discover three main events i.e. Jesus took blind man out of the town (a place of inequity, lust sinful desires and sin and abomination), followed by spit on eyes and putting his hand upon him (removing spiritual coverings of sins from our eyes) and finally with a warning to not enter into the town. (do not go back into the old world of sin otherwise your situation will be worse).
The second incident is mentioned in miracle of blind man testifying about JESUS
“Therefore said they unto him, How were your eyes opened? He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. (John 9:10-11)” Here specifically not only physical healing is there, but also anointing is being specified which make this men to speak courageously about Jesus. Later on
“The man answered and said unto them, Why here in is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he hears. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. (John 9:30-33)”. Again a testimony and witness of miracle of Jesus Christ is being again spoken by man in front of council of ministers, despite their resistance against JESUS.
“And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. (John 9:38-39)” Later on when this man again JESUS he understood the meaning of JESUS in life, therefore he believed and worshiped him. Jesus declared him JUDGEMENT day.
The last incident miracle of JESUS healing blindness of man,
“And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. (Acts 9:8-9)” Saul was a man who was against followers of JESUS, yet when he met JESUS, he could not withstand the light of world and became blind. Lord Jesus in a vision to Ananias instructed to go and pray for Saul.
“But the Lord said unto him, go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. (Acts 9:15-16)” Halleluiah! Praise the lord Saul is transformed into Paul,
a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Romans 1:1)Prayer:
