King David had a great desire and zeal in his heart to build a resting place for the Ark of Covenant of Adonai Jehovah. But he was considered unfit by Adonai as he had shed blood. Adonai had chosen Solomon, son of King David to build a temple. King David instructed Solomon as recorded in Holy Scriptures “Now you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing mind; for Adonai searches all hearts and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever. (1 Chronicles 28:9)
You all know decline of Solomon, Now King Solomon loved so many foreign women, besides the daughter of Pharaoh—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites— from the nations of whom Adonai had said to the children of Israel: “You shall not associate with them nor they associate with you, for surely they would turn your heart away after their gods.” Solomon clung to them for love. So he had 700 wives as princesses and 300 concubines—and his women led his heart astray. For it came about, as Solomon grew old, that his wives led his heart away after other gods, so that his heart was no longer wholly devoted to Adonai his God, unlike the heart of his father David. (1 Kings 11:1-4)
When a believer starts to walk in presence of living Elohim Adonai, there is freedom and joy from bondage but at the same time the mind becomes bombarded with thoughts of old sinful nature again and again enticing, luring to enjoy evil association gratifying the flesh.
In absence of hearing the voice of Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) of God, the believer falls into trap of evil. Once captures in the trap, the evil significantly emphasize broadening gap between Good and Evil, making deception that there is no way to return to Elohim Jehovah. Deception creeps in thoughts, this is moment to obey the voice when we hear sweet and gentle voice of Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit). If we put our efforts to obey the sweet gentle voice with full honesty in our heart, we are rescued from the trap of evil. We become victorious in it through the mighty Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit). This is the time to meditate and offer thanksgiving to wonderful Adonai Messiah Yeshua.
Still evil attack our thoughts to neglect the work of Holy Spirit and dishonour living God. Fight the spiritual battle with full faith because we have Adonai will fight for you, while you hold your peace.(Exodus 14:14).
Living Elohim Adonai is patient with us, but not fool, do not try to use any TRICKS. Living word of God teaches us through an incident occurred with apostle Peter. On the other hand, a man named Ananias together with his wife, Sapphira, sold a property. He kept back some of the proceeds, with his wife’s full knowledge, and brought part of it and set it at the feet of the emissaries. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has satan filled your heart to lie to the Ruach ha-Kodesh and keep back part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, it was your own, wasn’t it? And after it was sold, wasn’t it at your disposal? How did this deed get into your heart? You haven’t lied to men but to God.” As soon as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and died. Great fear came upon all who heard about it. The young men got up and wrapped him in a shroud, then carried him out and buried him. After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. Peter responded to her, “Tell me if you sold the land for this much.” She said, “Yes, for that much.” Then Peter said to her, “How did you agree to test the Ruach Adonai? Look, the feet of those who buried your husband are at the door—they will carry you out, too!” Immediately she fell down at his feet and died. When the young men came back in, they found her dead and carried her out and buried her beside her husband. And great fear came over the whole community and all who heard these things. (Acts 5:1-11)
Remember,
WE MUST OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN.
