Deny & Obey

Abraham was a man who obeyed the voice of GOD; yet there was a long journey ahead. Abraham was a blessed with a son called Isaac after long patience and hope in Adonai Elohim Jehovah. Abraham tasted the blessings of the Lord which were beyond comparable with anything in the world. Nothing was impossible for Adonai Jehovah. Behold, the eyes of Adonai are on those who fear Him, waiting for His love, (Psalms 33:18).  Elohim Jehovah was with Abraham in his journey of life. Abraham was a student in School of Holy Spirit quickly graduating from previously class to higher class. As he was moving up in faith, temptations were becoming tougher. One fine day he was instructed to the land of Moriah and climb up the mountain. Further he was instructed to built the altar, laid out the wood, bound up Isaac his son and lay him on the altar, on top of wood. Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the angel of Adonai called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham! Abraham!” He said, “Hineni (Here I am)!” Then He said, “Do not reach out your hand against the young man—do nothing to him at all. For now I know that you are one who fears God—you did not withhold your son, your only son, from Me.” Then Abraham lifted up his eyes and behold, there was a ram, just caught in the thick bushes by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. Abraham named that place, Adonai Yireh,—as it is said today, “On the mountain, Adonai will provide.” The angel of Adonai called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “By myself I swear—it is a declaration of Adonai—because you have done this thing, and you did not withhold your son, your only son, I will richly bless you and bountifully multiply your seed like the stars of heaven, and like the sand that is on the seashore, and your seed will possess the gate of his enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth will be blessed—because you obeyed My voice.” (Genesis 22:10-18)

This is symbolic message of advancement in spiritual journey with Adonai Messiah Yeshua; we have to climb up the mountain obeying the voice of Adonai Messiah Yeshua. As the journey begins with deeper quest for intimate relationship with Messiah Yeshua; there is climbing up the mountain. The materialistic temptations of the world which lead to sin become less significant day by day. The outer temptations start to fade away and inner temptations appear to be more significant as it exposes the sinful nature of our self.

This makes the climbing difficult as we have to shed the unwanted things in our life. Barriers in climbing are removed only when  I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said: “I confess my transgressions to Adonai,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah (Psalms 32:5).

What can wash away my sins?  What can make me whole again?  Answer is nothing but blood of Adonai Messiah Yeshua. Messiah Yeshua makes a way; he works in ways we cannot see. He becomes our guide, holds us closely and tightly to HIS side.

As we reach the mountain we have to build the altar which is only possible thorough guidance and instructions of Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) of GOD. We have to submit one hundred percent to HIM, no excuses allowed at all. Messiah Yeshua becomes the most precious thing and possession of our life.

Remember:

Then Yeshua was saying to everyone, “If anyone wants to follow Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross every day, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and the glory of the Father and the holy angels. (Luke 9:23-26)

YESHUA HA MASIHACH is COMING soon! HALLELUIAH!
