Imagine your life is over and you’re standing in front of a big DVD player. God inserts a disc with your name labeled on it, “What might have been.” The Psalms 119 gives a very beautiful description of how God’s Word step by step guide on becoming alive in a believer’s life.

Verse 7 says “I will praise thee with uprightness of HEART when I shall learn thy righteous judgments” it is the beginning in the word of GOD. When it should start? It is clearly explained in verse 9 in days of your youth, not the physical, but as per the spiritual rebirth in JESUS CHRIST. Followed by opening of spiritual eyes given in verse 18, so as to able to share thy wondrous works as explained in verse 27, followed by verse 32 which emphasis enlargement of HEART in the WORD OF GOD. This is further strengthen thorough verse 101 which focus on refrain from evil thorough the word of GOD which gets converted into 105 where the word is a LAMP to my feet and a LIGHT to my path. The word of GOD becomes hiding place against the trial and temptations of this world as given in verse 114, followed by SALVATION OF SOUL in verse 174 and 175. The verse 176 talks about JESUS who is the good SHEPERED who will find his LOST SHEEP seeking thy servants. This is the plan of GOD which gets fulfill in JESUS CHRIST.

It details everything He wanted to accomplish through you: How He wanted to use your gifts, but you lacked the discipline to develop them and the courage to use them. How He gave you great relationships, but you weren’t truthful and loving enough to maintain them. How He longed to reproduce in you the character of Christ, but you refused to deal with your sin, resist temptation, and pursue spiritual growth.

  • Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. (John 17:17-19).
  • But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 20:24)
