ON RAOD TO EMMAUS

Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them the things written about Himself in all the Scriptures.(Luke 24:25-27)

Two of the disciples were moving out of Jerusalem on road to Emmaus, they were unable to understand the events. Their minds were baffled with the events. They made up their minds and were moving out in search of new avenues for their lives. Adonai Yeshua the Glorious Resurrected Messiah met them on their journey to Emmaus. He explained everything about himself mentioned in the scriptures. Then at last he opened their understanding to comprehend the meaning of Messiah. They immediately returned to Jerusalem. Similarly it happens with us, many times we say in our hearts, what is the use of so much prayers and reading, meditating word of God? The life is going to be as it was and it has been. There will be no change in it. The encounter with Adonai Messiah Yeshua thorough his Ruach (Holy Spirit) reestablishes our faith in HIM. That lead us to return like the prodigal son, who realized it is better to stay in father’s house. Pray to Lord Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of faith to increase our faith and grant us the understanding of the living scriptures. As Apostle Paul mentioned in Ephesians chapter 6, put on whole armour of living GOD, take sword of spirit which is living word of GOD and take the shield of faith which comes by listening, reading and meditating on living word of GOD.
