SAMSON

All of us had heard about this prominent character of Bible who was given extraordinary strength and courage. This man fought against the Philistines, they were terrified by him. Now what made this man so special, that the whole race of philistines was terrified, it was not strength, and courage he was having but it was the ANOINTING given by GOD right before his birth and was revealed o his parent. Now let us meditate on an important verse given in the book of JUDGES “Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him. (Judges 14:5 KJV)”. Vineyard represents the building of kingdom of GOD and roaring of young Lion represents the Satan, who got annoyed. What happened next that is the key? The faith and obedience in GOD lead unto his mercy as in the next verse “And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent young lion, as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done. (Judges 14:6 KJV)”. Remember the anointing comes when the satan tries to baffles us thorough his roar and we cry out to our GOD, then spirit of lord help us to overcome it. Samson rent him as he would have rent a kid without any weapon in his hand, this is the magnificent beauty of HOLY SPIRIT. Later on in the carcass of young Lion, there is honey comb i.e. the WORD of GOD which Samson eaten and given it to all others around him. That is the ultimate aim and duty of ANY CHRISTIAN who is ALIVE ON THE FACE OF EARTH i.e. To PREACH THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, the bible declares “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11 KJV)”

We have to protect our anointing, because the moment we start to grow and develop in Christ, the devil will try every tit and bit to find a small hope in our faith and by “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtly, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
