Saviour's Birth

It is the Christmas season and across the globe all Christians are performing various rituals and traditions which they have been witnessing for a long period of time. The newness of celebration is fading away with the globalization. Instead of bringing new believers in the body of Christ, the church organization is busy in celebrating the age old traditions. Celebration is not prohibited but nature of celebration should be an invitation for experiencing the love, compassion and mercy of everlasting GOD, i.e. Lord Jesus Christ through the behaviour and intention shown by us. Mentality of majority of Christian people and majority of mankind in general is to accumulate resources for our self and our family. The fear factor is stronger than the GOD is our Provider factor. We rely on our self than GOD who is our provider.

The celebration of birth of Lord Jesus Christ in the manger is the true picture of agape (unconditional love) by our tri-union God. He loved us so much that HE created us in HIS own image i.e. Lord Jesus Christ. Maturity of Christians is depicted in practicing the agape. Sadly the picture is quite opposite of what actually is witnessed: “Eat, Drink and be Merry”. What about the homeless people? What about people working as sex slaves? What about people in old age homes? What about children in orphanages? What about people in prison? What about people lying on dead bed in hospitals?

This is a wonderful opportunity available for us to proclaim the good news i.e. Christ the saviour had born nearly 2018 years ago in little town called Bethlehem in Israel and is ready to take birth in your life provided you accept him as your saviour and redeemer. Apostle Paul explains in living word of GOD: Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, (Hebrews 6:1) Movement towards Perfection in Christ comes through the Holy Spirit. As we know it was prophesied that a virgin shall conceive, for that which is conceived in Mary is of Holy Spirit and bear a son called Jesus, (Immanuel) for he will save his people from SINS.

Holy Spirit is significant in our journey towards perfection, i.e. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26) Allow Holy Spirit to take full authority and permission in your life. Holy Spirit is sweet, gentle and does not impose or force itself on others. It waits for you patiently to recognize and rekindle you with fire of living GOD. The only Lord Jesus Christ will be born in your manger i.e. with full humility the saviour of my life has born. Allow the Death Killer, the Sin Killer, the disease Killer, the curse destroyer, the broker of bondage to work in you.

Remember: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou may be rich; and white raiment, that thou may be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that over cometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said unto the churches. (Revelation 3:18-22)
