DENIAL

We have entered into New year 2019 by grace of Lord. Let us try to get more intimate with our Lord.

The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His son Jesus, whom you delivered up, denying Him in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to let Him go. (Acts 3:13). The denial of Lord Jesus Christ is one of the greatest sin done by any human being. The intensity increases when the person had known the work of Lord Jesus Christ and after it denied.

I was one of the person who had done this sin. Not by deeds but by his GRACE.

Remember we cannot come close to Lord Jesus Christ on our own. Our deeds are filthy rags before the throne of living God. We have received unmerited favour by God in the form of his son Lord Jesus Christ. This unmerited favour is passed by Jewish people to gentiles. We are the gentiles who have received the unmerited favour due to denial of Jewish people as recorded in gospel. GOD so loved the world which is known as AGAPE: “Unconditional Love”. It is written in “For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)”.

Remember the precious love of GOD to save the life. Mankind is composed of three elements the Spirit, the Soul (Mind), the Body, created in God’s image and God’s likeness. The soul enjoys the freewill given by creator GOD. This freewill was shrewdly used by evil one to lead banishment from Garden of Eden and thereby from the companionship of Holy Spirit. This freewill given by GOD was corrupted by evil one through disobedience towards Elohim Living GOD.

Prophet Jeremiah had written explicitly stating under the guidance of Holy Spirit: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)”. Lord Jesus Christ also explained in the parable of death of Richman and Lazarus given in Gospel of Luke (Luke 16: 9-31). The condition of Richman describes the meaning of perished in comparison to Lazarus who was receiving everlasting life.

We may the find different viewpoints, ideologies and principles and religious viewpoints. These are strong deceptive tools to tempt our heart by the evil one with a single motive - destroy the soul. Lord Jesus Christ came to give us everlasting life as defined by Apostle Paul in book of Roman, “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)”
