SOLIDER or SLAVE

Today human beings are caught in a plethora of temptations, some of the temptations are known to oneself, rest go unnoticed as the evil one has blinded the memory to remember and block the thoughts to analyze the pertinent issues involved in daily life. Lord Jesus Christ after resurrection very clearly stated that a time is coming when I am no longer in flesh with you as a believer, the survival will be possible only through the consecration of oneself as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is the most important the element for our relationship in Lord Jesus Christ, as Lord Jesus Christ told to his disciples “I will not leave you as orphans but will give you helper, the spirit of truth which the world could not understand”. Our Body, soul and spirit are the outer court, inner court and holy of holies as mentioned by Moses describing the temple in the Old Testament. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have of God? And you are not your own, for you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Our mind which is full of emotions, feelings, and thoughts is the battlefield where the enemy attacks very often. We are required to take a decision about whether we want to become a soldier or a slave as we are in spiritual warfare. If we wish to become a soldier then these are main elements upon which, Apostle Paul explained it significantly in his epistle to Corinthians; for though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ; and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6) We should the weapons of our warfare as a believer and also understand the purpose of each weapon given to us. As explained by Apostle Paul, Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (Ephesians 6:11-16) It results in fruits of the Holy Spirit in our life as explained, the fruit of the spirit are our weapons of warfare, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control; against such things, there is no law. But those belonging to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. (Galatians 5:22-24) If we wish to become a slave then our conditions are also defined, For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these. For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:2-7) Today take a decision, Choose whom you will serve. Yeshua ha, Messiah is coming soon!!!
