REPROACH

Today each one us love to receive the rewards; it acts as a motivator for us. The rewards become more precious for us when we do not have to do any labour for it. As a believer, we know that evil one has introduced deception in a subtle manner on three areas to keep mankind distracted and engaged in his vicious cycle. These three distinct areas are lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Lust of flesh is one of the prominent areas where irrespective of gender, age or creed. It results in greed which is never satisfied and always want more and more, the feeling of pleasure captures a person moving from a person as on the object to an object in the own mind & emotions which controls the imagination of that individual. Lust of eyes is to search for the unknown which the world has not seen or known when this search becomes the first passion of an individual the desires becomes an obsession, which possesses the individual to becomes a slave of it. Last but not least is the pride of life which comes by acquiring fame and wealth of this world in a combination of unethical means. To compromise every situation where a sacrifice of truth was required into a situation of self-gratification. Holy Bible describes a man called Moses which means drawn out of the water, who at an age of understanding refused to love the world “Having become great, Moses by faith refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. (Heb 11:24-26).” Moses is the only person who is called a friend of Adonai Elohim Yeshua, because of his foundational choice which altered his way of life further. He had chosen affliction rather than the pleasure of the world. Joshua who was given the responsibility of leading Israelites to the promised land to Peter and Paul had also made their foundational choice to serve the Lord Jesus Christ till their last breath.
