A tree is known by its fruits and cursed is the tree which do not bear the fruits. Our Lord Jesus Christ cursed fig tree when he found no fruit in it as mentioned in Matthew 21: 19. One of the common misconceptions with the Christian community is that Grace covers all, whatever sins we have done or we will do are already covered by Grace so no need to further worry about guilt consciousness of sin in our lives. Mankind is given free will by the Creator God. Christians who are perceiving to enjoy life with its lust, pleasures to its fullest where our sins are already covered under grace, no spiritual discipline is required to be followed. They are in serious problem.
No doubt we are covered under the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and because of grace we are not entitled for condemnation, but there is going to be eternal judgement which is being vividly described in the book of revelation. Grace saves us from wrath of God but one who save us has already spoken that judgement will become from People of God i.e. Christ’s communities and churches. If we just read the book of Revelation first three chapters we can find letters to seven churches warning them about eternal judgement, saying, “Write what you see in a scroll, and send it to Messiah’s seven communities—to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”(Revelation 1:11). As we read and meditate in book of revelation chapter four, we immediately the throne in heaven, the Lamb of GOD and so on. This significantly indicates we have to focus on something deeper than superficial Christianity which we have been practicing popularly. We have to follow Christ till our last breadth, as our Messiah, our Saviour, Our Redeemer, Our Ransom for Sin searches minds and hearts with a purpose to give us according to our deeds.
We cannot hide anything from our Saviour, fool is a person who assumes that I can run away from God or deceive God. Even Satan or Lucifer who is father of lies and deception cannot run away and will be sent to bottomless pit for everlasting torment. Imagine for a moment our significance, made from dust, we are not worthy to even utter anything to defend ourselves before the magnificent, omnipotent, omniscient, everlasting king of kings and lord of lords. Pity over the people who get trapped by evil thought of Satan or Lucifer that we can be like God.
Our duty is to keep work of Christ alive in our being till our last breadth, which is a simple three step: ask repentance for our sins, forgive every person, seek guidance of Holy Spirit.
Remember:
And I saw a great white throne, and Him sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And a place was not found for them. And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead in them. And each one of them was judged according to their works.(Revelation 20:11-13)
