Let us try to understand the ultimate truth about death which has to be witnessed by every individual in their lives irrespective of age, gender, ethnic origin, nationality. It is an old saying: Everyone who is born has to die. Some of the common viewpoints of Death popular among people are: Is it a stage of the journey to eternity? Or it is an endpoint destination of journey? What is death actually?
People all across the globe are witnessing fearful death as it is evident with the global upsurge of Coronavirus pandemic. Thousands of people are dying during COVID-19 pandemic without meditating what will happen after death? Most people by default consider DEATH as the endpoint destination of the journey in their lives. Most scientists probably say that the concept of an afterlife is either nonsense or at the very least unprovable. Yet one expert claims he has evidence to confirm an existence beyond the grave - and it lies in quantum physics. (https://www.robertlanzabiocentrism.com/)Professor Robert Lanza of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, North Carolina, United States claims the theory of biocentrism which teaches that death as we know it is an illusion created by our consciousness. So new views are coming up contradicting the older ones. The world is not pretty sure about WHAT IS DEATH? what is the relevance of Death for a righteous and an unrighteous person?
Book of Genesis, the first book of the Holy Bible reveals due to disobedience performed by Mankind under the deceptive illusion of Lucifer, sin entered leading to loss of the free will of mankind which was made captive by SIN. More about it is written; in Genesis 3:18-19 where GOD announced judgment- Thorns and thistles will sprout for you. You will eat the plants of the field, (19) By the sweat of your brow will you eat food, until you return to the ground since from it were you taken. For you are dust, and to dust will you return. (DEATH)”. God expelled Mankind from the garden of Eden. Death entered the world due to sin.
King Solomon in 960 BCE wrote in Ecclesiastes says in chapter 9: verse 4 - For whoever is chosen, to all those living, there is hope; for a living dog is better than a dead lion. Hope is there for living due to free will given to mankind in their journey on earth. Free will cease to exist after death. This leads to two important points 1. Sin captured our free will and 2. that there is HOPE till we are alive on Earth.
There is only one solution available to the two specific problems of Mankind. Accept the Invitation of Lord Yeshua our Messiah as It is written: Colossians 2:6-15 Therefore as you received Messiah Yeshua as Lord, so continue to walk in Him— (7) rooted and built up in Him and established in your faith just as you were taught, overflowing with thankfulness. (8) See that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men and the basic principles of the world rather than the Messiah. (9) For all the fullness of Deity lives bodily in Him, (10) and in Him, you have been filled to fullness. He is the head over every ruler and authority. (11) In Him, you were also circumcised with a circumcision done not by hand, in the stripping away of the body of the flesh through the circumcision of the Messiah. (12) You were buried along with Him in immersion, through which you also were raised with Him by trusting in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. (13) When you were dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive together with Him when He pardoned us all our transgressions. (14) He wiped out the handwritten record of debts with the decrees against us, which was hostile to us. He took it away by nailing it to the cross. (15) After disarming the principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.
Going deeper in Paul explained in his epistle to Romans 5:19-21 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous. (20) But the Law entered so that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound, (21) so that as sin has reigned to death, even so, grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Understand clearly Grace is a person and his name is Lord Yeshua our Messiah, it is freedom from the bondage of legalism. Sin is a state of failing to hit the mark and it cannot have dominion over a person after accepting Lord Yeshua our Messiah. We come under HIS GRACE. Do not mistake for Treating Grace as a granted element: it is the compassion of examiner Lord Yeshua our Messiah upon the students (Mankind) in the examination (Temptations), it is not the students’ ability (Individual righteousness).
The Enemy Satan programs our minds to believe the world of illusion or Matrix or Virtual Reality. Do not forget, we live in a fallen world where we possess by birth fallen human nature due to SIN. The spiritual battle of SIN is between Lucifer and GOD. Lucifer has 1/3 of angels known as fallen angels whereas GOD has 2/3 of angels in heaven. Mankind was brought into SIN deceptively by Lucifer, Yeshua our Messiah rescued us by offering himself as a sacrifice for our sins.
In the Gospel of Luke, Lord Yeshua our Messiah tells his audience – his disciples and some Pharisees – of the relationship, during life, and after death, between an unnamed rich man and a poor beggar named Lazarus. A rich man who lived a life of extravagant luxury. Laying outside the entrance of this rich man’s house, though, was an exceptionally unfortunate Lazarus who only hoped “to eat what fell from the rich man’s table." The rich man was very unsympathetic to the dilemma of Lazarus, offering him no love, help, or compassion. In time, they both met their mortal ends and passed on to the afterlife.
Lazarus was welcomed into Abraham’s bosom, while the rich man was condemned to hell. Pleading to “Father Abraham”, the rich man asked that Lazarus come down from Abraham’s bosom to cool his tongue with a drop of water to reduce his “agony in this fire.” The rich man additionally requested Abraham to send Lazarus back to earth as a warning to his brothers to atone for their sins. Abraham told the rich man that if his brothers did not believe in Scripture, neither would they believe Lazarus, even if he came directly from here. In this passage the emotions, feelings, and thought of unnamed rich man are vividly active in the pleading, arguing although his body is returned to dust. The learning for all of us is, of course, we will pay for our sins on earth when we finally decease, therefore we should come under GRACE of God.
Jesus performed wonderful miracle bringing back to life a man who was dead for four days, his name was Lazarus of Bethany, brother of Martha and Mary as recorded in John chapter 11:1 to 44. Lazarus was not the first person Jesus raised from the dead. He rose the widow’s son and Jairus’ daughter also, so what Jesus was about to do was nothing new. But in a way it was. The other two had only been dead for a few hours at most. How do we know this? It was the Jewish custom to bury the dead as soon as possible after death and this was usually done the same day they died.
When Jesus rose the widow’s son, they were carrying the young man to be buried. The burial would have taken place as soon as the body had been prepared for burial. And for Jairus’ daughter, she may have been dead only minutes and certainly less than an hour as her body was still on the bed. We know Jesus was close to the house because Jairus had walked to find Jesus and the servants had come to let Jairus know his daughter had died. Then Jairus and Jesus went directly to the house.
As we see in the next few verses Lazarus had been dead long enough for the body to start to decay. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that Lazarus was dead. Today we know that the brain would by then be hopelessly decayed. The body’s cells would have already started to break down and every organ would be beyond useful. Nothing could have been done to revive him. He was beyond all earthly hope. Fortunately, Lazarus was not beyond all hope. With God all things are possible. Remember John 11:25 Jesus said to Martha, I am the Resurrection and the Life! He who believes in Me, though he dies, yet he shall live. Lazarus of Bethany, Widow’s Son, and Jairus’s daughter all were brought back to life by Lord Yeshua our Messiah.
He is the DEATH KILLER. Lord Yeshua our Messiah said in John Chapter 10: verse 18 “No one takes it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father. Lord Yeshua our Messiah is the resurrection and the Life.
So, do not be afraid of the people’s viewpoint for your life, just focus on Lord Yeshua our Messiah because he says further in John Chapter 15: verses 18 & 19- “If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before you. (19) If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. But you are not of the world since I have chosen you out of the world; therefore the world hates you.
Lord Yeshua our Messiah in discussion with Sadducees (a sect of Israel, who did not believe in angels and resurrection) when they asked him cunningly about the resurrection. Lord Yeshua replied giving us a glimpse of life after death on earth as recorded in Matthew chapter 22: verses 23 to 33, He Said; For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. (31) But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read what was spoken to you by God, saying, (32) ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living!” (33) When the crowds heard this, they were astounded at His teaching.
It means story of unnamed rich man and Lazarus was not a parable but Lord Yeshua was telling something which really happened after death on earth. Death Killer Lord Yeshua our Messiah who has eternal life in him, is again and again proclaiming his call to mankind to this day.
Are you heeding to HIS CALL in your life? Do you still not understand? Lord Yeshua our Messiah is our provider for eternity. HE does not live in eternity but is eternity himself. He is the omnipotent, omniscient, sovereign Lord as apostle Paul had recorded in his first epistle to the Corinthians chapter 15: verse 19 If we have hoped in Messiah in this life alone, we are to be pitied more than all people.
Holy Bible records it when our Lord Yeshua laid his life on the cross for our sins and said it is FINISHED, submitted his spirit to father. Matthew chapter 27: verses 51-53 records And, behold! The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared, (52) and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep arose, (53), and coming out of the tomb after His resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
Holy Bible records it 1, Peter 3:18-19 For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit; (19) in which also He went and preached to the spirits in prison. These are the people who died on the Earth believing in the coming of Messiah for Israel. They prophesied for him, centuries before his visit to earth in flesh as Lord Yeshua. They were resting in Abraham’s bosom, but with the testimony of resurrected Lord Yeshua himself, were taken to their final abode i.e. in Heaven for eternity with HIM.
Keep always in the back of your mind, we are gifted with GRACE in our lives for a specific purpose through our HIGH PRIEST Lord Yeshua our Messiah as it is written; Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin. (16) Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Repent before lord Yeshua our Messiah every day and whenever the spirit of guilt attack you to isolate you in your thoughts, your feelings, your heart. Understand there is a spiritual battle in our mind and heart between the spirit of Truth – Holy Spirit is given by Lord Yeshua our Messiah and the Spirit of Error – given by Lucifer i.e. Master of Illusion. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
So read and meditate on the word of GOD as it is written; 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (17) that the man of God may be PERFECTED, thoroughly furnished to every good work. Holy Spirit will guide you and transform your life as (understand two GREEK words: Logos [lo-gos] (which means General word of GOD) will become Rhema (Personal Specific word for a specific time and situation) in your Lives).
You would have a hope which is not a disappointing fantasy and persistent fire burning within you, as it is written in 2 letters to Timothy chapter 4: verses 1-2 Therefore I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead according to His appearance and His kingdom, (2) preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. Do not give excuse by thinking it is not my work, it is the work of Pastors, Evangelists, and the Preachers. Make yourself clear that we have accountability in the body of our Messiah; every one of us has to preach the Gospel through our actions, our behavior, our deeds in the society where we live so as to witness our Lord Yeshua our Messiah.
If we ignore and reject this responsibility then what will happen to us it is also written; 2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust for a day of judgment, to be punished. Just think for a moment what will happen to us for eternity on our ignorance and rejection of our responsibility. What action would you like GOD to take for your life? i.e. to be delivered or to be kept reserved. Think twice before responding. God is merciful to mankind till they are alive, receive mercy through our Lord Yeshua; as it is written in James chapter 2 verse 13- Mercy triumphs over Judgement. Further Grace comes with peace from GOD our father and the Lord Yeshua our Messiah in our lives.
Judgment from Lord Yeshua our Messiah is bound to happen for everyone including angels, remember Lucifer and 1/3 fallen angels. Jude, brother of James in his letter chapter 1 verse 6 to 8 records: And those angels not having kept their first place, but having deserted their dwelling-place, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of a great Day; (7) as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these, committing fornication, and going away after other flesh, laid down an example before-times, undergoing vengeance of everlasting fire. (8) Likewise, indeed, also these dreaming ones even defile the flesh, and despise rulership, and speak evil of glories.
Do not consider the anointing of GOD as an improper element in your journey of life on the Earth. Do not deny lord Yeshua our Messiah. Be clear, everyone who denies the Son does not have Father. The one confessing Son has the Father. Lord Yeshua has promised everlasting life to us. Do not reject it. As it is written in 1 John chapter 2: verse 27 But the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true and no lie, and as He has taught you, abide in Him. There is going to be Judgement of whole mankind of all generations before the great white throne as mentioned in Book of Revelation Chapter 20; verses 13-15 And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead in them. And each one of them was judged according to their works. (14) And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. (15) And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.
The first death is mandatory for all mankind in flesh, but second death is judgment in Lake of Fire.
