Many
People in the world show a desire to follow lord Yeshua our Messiah, they get
excited after receiving the miracle, the healing or the breakthrough in their
situation. They are roaring in faith, but the moment again they get stuck up in
a situation, their faith starts to dwindle. I have experienced such moments in
my life. But the strategy to stand in such a situation is given by the author of
our Faith, i.e. Lord Yeshua our Messiah.
So, let
us meditate on CROSS EVERYDAY and its relevance for us pragmatically.
As it is
written: And He
(Lord Yeshua our Messiah) said
to all, if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up
his cross daily and follow Me. (Luke 9:23).
Our Lord
Yeshua Messiah has clearly instructed every believer to take up the CROSS
EVERYDAY. We have to die daily so that resurrected Lord Yeshua our Messiah is
alive in us. Self-righteousness is of no use for us. This is a serious
obligation not an occasional ritual. Being a Christian is not half Heart
business it is full time business because the world sees us as a representative
of most High GOD i.e. Lord Yeshua our Messiah. We
cannot run away from GOD, but we have an individual choice to accept or reject
HIM in our Earthly life.
Our GOD
is tri-union being i.e. Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Similarly, we have one
soul with a spirit living in earthly vessel known as flesh. We are on journey on
earth, and we have to spent eternity either with Lord Yeshua our Messiah or
without Him. There is no midway. As it is written: Truly, truly, I say to you, if a man keeps My
Word, he shall never see death. (John 8:51).
In the
Old Testament, Abraham trusted the word of Lord received them by Faith as
promises and was considered righteousness.
And not being
weak in faith, he did not consider his own body already dead (being about a
hundred years old) or the deadening of Sarah's womb. He did not stagger at the
promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God,
and being fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was also able to
perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
(Romans
4:19-22).
This passage shows a struggle that every believer
has to face on our earthly journey in spiritual warfare. Faith is a gift given by Lord Yeshua our
Messiah and further developed as fruit in our life by Lord Yeshua only. One
beautiful thing is, we are not as orphans in this spiritual struggle, we have a
counsellor, helper, and advocate given by our Lord Yeshua our Messiah, the Holy
Spirit. There is no victory, no longevity in our Christian life in the absence of
Holy Spirit. This situation is highly dangerous, one found in this state is
highly deceptive. Holy Spirit, the Third part
of GOD's head is here for our rescue, provided on an individual permits Holy Spirit
in his/her life.
As it is written in scriptures: But I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you
that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you.
But if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when that One comes, He will
convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning
judgment. (John 16:7-8)
SIN is
bondage of human life on earth. Satan brings condemnation which leads to
despair, whereas the Holy Spirit brings conviction because it leads to
repentance. Man’s self Righteousness is like filthy rags, we require Lord Yeshua Messiah’s righteousness in
our spiritual struggle against sin. Judgment is predestined due to our sinful
nature, but Mercy triumphs over Judgement.
But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when He judges you. Avoid
the task of evaluation of anyone.
It is possible to give up the world but difficult
to give self. Self can have control over
someone even though living in a cave or monastery.
Yet before the crucifixion, Peter denied Lord Yeshua our
Messiah, because self was controlling him, but after witnessing the crucifixion
and resurrection of Lord. Same
Peter received the fire baptism of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost in Jerusalem and proclaimed Lord Yeshua our Messiah among the same crowd.
We are warriors of our Lord Yeshua our Messiah on this earth, with only one
goal to advance the kingdom of GOD. Definitely, SIN will be attacking us and we
will get scars and bruises, we may stumble, fall and even fail but with Lord
Yeshua our Messiah on our side, we rise again.
As it is written: And not only so,
but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is
given unto us.
(Romans 5:3-5). Holy
Spirit develops hope in our life as we encounter struggle against sin, establishes
Peace with GOD through faith.
This HOPE leads to the development of fruits of Righteousness in our life. As it is written: Being
filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the
glory and praise of God.
(Philippians 1:11).
Remember: As it is written: He that is not with me is against me, and he that
gathered not with me scattered abroad. (Matthew 12:30)
Yeshua our Messiah is the King of kings and Lord of Lords.
