This is the beginning of emptying of self so that we are made available for purpose of GOD in our life. We have to do it every day in our life to be empty to receive Grace, as it is written Titus 3:3-5 For we ourselves also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, slaving for various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. (4) But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, (5) not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS mercy, HE saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit. As King David wrote in Psalm; Psalms 141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before You as incense, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
The Holy Spirit prepares us to become the aroma of Christ in every place. As it is written: 2 Corinthians 2:14-17 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. (15) For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, (16) to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? (17) For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.
Hebrews 13:15 By Him, then, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing HIS name. i.e. Lord Yeshua our Messiah
