Everybody likes to receive blessings in their
life, they feel honoured to be called blessed among their people. As written in the living word of God, Proverbs Chapter 10: Blessing comes only from living God,
without any painful Labour for it.
Let us meditate on the blessing provider of our
lives. Lord Yeshua Ha Messiah. The gospel of Luke chapter 5 describes the meekness
of Lord Yeshua our Messiah walking on the shores of Lake Gennesaret.
1. He saw fishermen washing their nets, two boats
standing by the lake. Washing their nets signifies the completion of work by
mankind as per their own righteousness, as it is written in Romans chapter
10 verse 3: For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness
and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted
themselves to the righteousness of God.
2.
And Yeshua entered into one of the boats, which was Simon’s. He asked
him to thrust out a little from the land and taught people out of the boat. As it is
written: Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing and hearing
by the word of Messiah. The words of our Messiah echoes in our soul and
spirit thereby nourishing our inner self to develop our faith in Lord Yeshua
our Messiah.
3.
Further, faith develops obedience as we observe in this verse: And he
said to Simon, Launch out into the deep and lets your nets down for a catch.
Simon replied, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and caught nothing. But at
Your word I will let down
the nets.” This statement of Simon brought blessings. As it is
written in the living word of God: Romans 10:10 For with the heart it
is believed for righteousness, and with the mouth, it is confessed for
salvation. Confession by mouth becomes an important aspect
for receiving the blessing even in challenging situations.
4. The blessings were Luke 5:6-7 When
they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets began to break. (7) So they
signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. They came
and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. Blessings start to overflow in your life,
beyond comprehension.
5. Now the question is what after receiving the
blessings? Whether going back to your own righteousness or grown in faith obeying
Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit will sanctify you with word of truth, as happened with
Simon; Luke 5:8 But when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Yeshua’s knees, saying, “Go away from me,
Master, for I am a sinful man!”This is
called submission as explained in Luke 9:23 Then Yeshua was saying to everyone, “If anyone wants to follow Me, he must deny himself,
take up his cross every day, and follow Me.”
6. Submission leads to being chosen as a vessel
for the fulfillment of God’s will in our life. This means you’re anointed for the fulfillment of the task. As Yeshua
told Luke 5:10 so also Jacob and John, Zebedee’s sons, who were partners
with Simon. But Yeshua said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on, you will be catching men.”
BLESSINGS is for everyone INCLUDING YOU,
ANOINTING IS ALWAYS FOR OTHERS.
7. Simon understood it Luke 5:11 So when they
had brought the boats to the landing, they left everything and followed Him. It means give Lord Yeshua first priority in
every situation of your life.
Remember Lord Yeshua our Messiah always, He should be the first priority always so that you are blessed and become a blessing for
others.
Adonai
Lord Yeshua our Messiah is coming soon!
