Life Promised with Purity

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)
The Bible states, “Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked” (Psalm 97:10). According to the above mentioned Scripture verse, it is God’s desire to deliver the souls of the holy people from the hand of the wicked.
God guards the ways of the righteous and protects them (Proverbs 2:8). He says, “I am the Lord who makes you holy” (Leviticus 20:8; Ezekiel 20:12). While praying to His Father for His disciples Lord Jesus said, “Sanctify them by the truth” (John 17:17).
Dearly beloved, when we know the truth, the truth will make us free. It will deliver us from all kinds of bondages and it will guide us towards holiness. Lord Jesus Christ says, “I am the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6). The Bible says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). In short, only when Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy One, rules our life we can be sanctified. He has already borne all our sufferings and weaknesses on the cross.
The Lord says, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool” (Isaiah 1:18). When we cry out to Him in His presence saying, “Lord, please forgive my sins and help me to lead a holy life,” He will cleanse us with His precious blood and make us His children (I John 1:7,9). He will also hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea (Isaiah 38:17; Micah 7:19). What a privilege to have such a loving God as our Father! Lord Jesus Christ is the only One who has the power to remove all our sins and to sanctify us because He is the only One who gave up His life for us on the cross. He is able to lead us in godly ways as desired by Him.
