For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curse father or mother, let him die the death. (Matthew 15:4)
Often we assume that parents are granted helpers for our life. Definitely they are helpers for their children; they rear, feed, educate and develop them. But despite the fact we as children overlook them when they grow old, or when they require our support. Jesus narrated death for children who do not honour their parents. The death here means departing away from blessings of the God and become susceptible for the curses. This has been recorded in the book of Genesis Chapter 9, when out of three sons of NOAH; one of them witnessed the nakedness of his father. Ham, the father of Canaan, told this to remaining two brothers. And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. Shem and Japheth honour their father and Ham did not, so he received curse from his father, due to which this race is still known as backward and full of diseases. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he said unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then said he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. (John 19:26-27).
So be cautious what you are inviting in your life Blessing or Curse?
God Bless you in Jesus Christ Name! Amen and Amen!
