DILIGENCE

The word diligence is very difficult to practice in Christianity. Most of us often found it difficult to follow it in our entire life.  Diligence as explained "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a forward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. (Proverbs 4:24)" comes with faith and faith comes by hearing the word of God "For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)". Further Paul elaborates clearly faith should accompany conscience as told to timothy: "Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck (1 Timothy 1:19)". Paul further elaborates about his life "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (2 Timothy 4:7)" Keeping the faith is an important aspect in one's life when following JESUS. CHRIST further explained on replacing evil thoughts and desires with FAITH in living GOD in book of Luke "Fools! Did not He who made the outside also make the inside? But give alms of such things as you have, and behold, all things are clean to you. (Luke 11:40-41)"

So the conclusion is keeping a constant check on oneself because word of God says "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones. Be afflicted, and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness. Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift you up. (James 4:8-10)
