WORK and EAT

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Be mindful of things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:1-3) This is a powerful, magnificent mystery revealed in Christ to us. This was revealed to Paul , apostle of Christ Jesus by Holy Spirit. We all readily accept all the blessings, but the question is how many of us really follow the Christ in our day to day lives? Paul further clarifies, for you yourselves know how you ought to follow us. For we did not behave ourselves disorderly among you, neither did we eat any man's bread freely, but we worked with labour and travail night and day, so that we might not be heavy on any of you (not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example to you, to imitate us). For even when we were with you, we commanded you this, that if anyone would not work, neither should he eat. (2 Thessalonians 3:7-10). The main theme is WORK and EAT which is ignored by many of us while mediating thorough this verse.

The concept of WORK in ministry of Christ starts when HE call you i.e. Work of Christ exhibited in your lives, And when He had called to Him His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. (Matthew 10:1). But it is active when Holy Spirit i.e. spirit of living God, as mentioned in Acts is manifested thorough our lives, And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:2-4)

This has been explained by prophet Ezekiel; And He said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, our bones are dried and our hope is lost; we are cut off by ourselves. Therefore prophesy and say to them, so says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, and will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am Jehovah when I have opened your graves, O My people, and have brought you up out of your graves. (Ezekiel 37:11-13). Further explained by GOD's timing and his purpose for our lives, For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. (Jeremiah

29:11-12). This result in reunion with GOD thorough Christ, How long will you turn to and fro, O faithless daughter? For Jehovah has created a new thing in the land; a woman shall enclose a man. (Jeremiah 31:22). It happens because of compassion of God thorough Christ, And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will return to save them; for I have pity on them. And they shall be as though I had not cast them off; for I am Jehovah their God, and I will answer them. (Zechariah 10:6). It will lead to, what has been described in book of Acts, and fear came on every soul. And many wonders and miracles took place through the apostles. (Acts 2:43). Paul explains it further in Colossians, that you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, being fruitful in every work and increasing in the knowledge of God, (Colossians 1:10).

Finally a warning from CHRIST, Therefore what God has joined together, let not man put apart. (Mark 10:9).
